Distribute a Data Store Segment

(Optional) Get a list of Data Store destinations

Use the List all available Data Store Destinations action.

Find the desired Data Store destinations by name.

1. Check a segment's approval status

Use the Data Store segment detail action. When both business_approval_status and privacy_approval_status are set to true, the segment is available for purchase and delivery.

When sending custom segments, use the Data Store segment approval status action to track the status of the segment with respect to a particular destination ID.

2. Get a list of existing Destination Accounts

Use the List all Destination Accounts action.

Save that Destination Account's ID.

If unsure, reach out to your LiveRamp contact about which of destination account should be used. It is possible that a new Destination Account will need to be created in Connect first.

3. Add a Data Store segment to a Destination Account

Use the Add Data Store Segments to Destination Account action and the segment/Destination Account IDs you obtained in previous steps.
