LiveRamp has made the decision to deprecate the ATS Mobile SDK, with a target sunset date of September 30, 2026. To continue leveraging LiveRamp's mobile identity capabilities, users should make the transition to the ATS API before the sunset date.

The ATS API framework will offer a more scalable, robust, and feature-rich solution and will allow you to take advantage of our evolving platform capabilities going forward. LiveRamp will provide your team with the guidance and support needed to make this transition as smooth as possible up until the deprecation date.

What This Means for You

To avoid any interruptions with your mobile identity integration, you must transition to ATS API and ensure it is fully implemented before September 30, 2026.

The steps to implement ATS API are as follows:

1. Create an ATS Placement in Console
2. Collect valid consent strings
3. Prepare and hash the identifiers
4. Call the ATS Envelope API to retrieve envelopes
5. Store the envelope with a timestamp
6. Implement envelope refresh
7. Pass envelopes into monetization workflows
