We have removed the Segment Details route from v3 of the Buyer API. You can now simply call the v3/Segments endpoint to obtain the same information.

Use the Seller Storefront endpoint to get more information about data sellers. For more information, see The Seller Storefront Endpoint.

You can now filter segments by country, currency, identifier type, last refresh date, and reach expansion. For more information, see Filtering Segments.

You can now use enable Data Marketplace segments for distribution by the Activation API.

We have added a new URL for the Buyer API. https://api.liveramp.com/data-marketplace/ still works, but we have added https://api.liveramp.com/data-marketplace/buyer-api/. In future versions, the buyer-api path will be required.

LiveRamp has always required the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) for authentication. To comply with industry standards, LiveRamp will require that the TLS version be 1.2 or higher as of November 1, 2022.  Connections attempted using earlier versions of the TLS protocol will be rejected. If you’re not sure which version of TLS your application currently uses, please consult your internal IT security team.

We have disabled the Destination and Distribution endpoints in v2.
