The AbiliTec API Developer Hub

The AbiliTec API allows you to match your data to the AbiliTec Identity Graph and receive AbiliTec IDs. API calls can be made using single transaction calls, or batch request calls that contain up to 1000 records per call.

Lookup Endpoints

Learn about the basic and advanced ways you can use Lookup Endpoints.

The Lookup endpoint can be used to perform exact matching on the following input data types:

  • Plaintext (raw) PII strings ("entity representations")
  • Hashed PII strings ("hashed entity representations")
  • AbiliTec Links (AbiliTec DocIDs can be used as input for the DocID endpoint)

Data normalization or fuzzy matching is not used on plaintext PII.

Using either AbiliTec Links or hashed entity representations allows API requests without requiring raw (plaintext) PII to be passed as input to the request.

If a maintained document is not associated with the input data, the endpoint returns a derived DocID and returns "document not found" for the "Link" parameter.
