Configuring Segment Distribution

Once data has been ingested into LiveRamp and the segments are ready, you can distribute segments to destinations. This can be done using the Connect UI, or via API.

API Access Point

Here are the basic steps to configure a new distribution via API (if you've previously activated a destination account, skip to step 3):

1. Select from the list of supported destinations and find the template and its required properties
2. Create a destination account for the selected destination by calling the Create New Account API endpoint with the completed template
3. Add the relevant segments to the newly created destination account using the Add Segments to Account API endpoint

Once segments have been added to a correctly configured destination account, they will automatically progress to the next step in the workflow.
